The tool manufacturer Gühring's product program encompasses over 1,370 different kinds of tool with more than 43,000 different items for rotary machining: drilling tools, deep-hole drills, threading tools, cutting tools, polishing tools, sinking tools, diamond tools and modular tool systems.
Production takes place in 24 production centers in Germany and abroad. 33 Service Centers on all continents and more than 64 country subsidiaries and sales offices are on hand to look after Gühring's customers.

Cost-Effectiveness

For comprehensive reporting, particularly clever iteration functions in the DeltaMaster Report Server come into play: from a template only containing three simple-to-maintain reports, several hundred field sales staff can each obtain a list of their best 40 customers at the current time and the 40 products most in-demand from these customers.
A monthly report portfolio for the Chief Executive at the press of a button
Similar automation procedures speed up the previously extremely time-consuming creation of reports for the Management. It used to take several days of painstaking work to put the reports together in Excel from very diverse sources. Today the over 80 standard reports are updated at the press of a button and sent automatically to the Management.
Keeping an eye on 450 cell phone cards
Now that controlling has more time available for non-core activities, new and sometimes unusual ways of making savings are being developed. A special DeltaMaster solution optimizes the use of call rates both for those in the company who use cell phones frequently and for those who do not use them so often. With 450 cell phone cards in the company, the solution pays for itself very quickly.
