Preparing data in such a way that it can be analysed fluidly can be an extremely laborious job. That's why we've built an ETL tool (for Extracting, Transforming and Loading data), that can also be used by folks who don't want to use an ETL tool.

ImportWizard imports data from text files (.txt, .csv, ...), Excel (.xls), Access (.mdb) and ODBC data sources into MIS Alea and Microsoft Analysis Services (server and local cubes). It recognizes data structures by itself and proposes the suitable data model automatically. ImportWizard discovers hierarchical connections between columns of tables, supports automated linking to dimension hierarchies and forms time and zipcode hierarchies automatically.
